Card stock is new "In Color" Soft Suede
Snowflake from SU "Little Felt Flurries" .......
with a little "bling" in the middle

Delightful Decorations

(116517 21.95 set of 7)
This is my new favorite set from Stampin' Up's
Holiday Mini Catalog
SU also has a new punch in this catalog,
called Ornament 116794(15.95)which punches these
ornaments out. It is so much
fun and goes soooooo fast to stamp, punch, and place
on your card. There are 4 ornaments, one is
a to-from so it would make a great tag for your
Christmas packages. It also has 3 other little stamps for
decorations. I used some borders from a retired
Christmas Simply Scrappin set.
I used the Soft Suede cardstock again, and
Christmas Cocoa DSP. The ornament is stamped
with Real Red, and "Punched out!!! Ribbon is from the Holiday Mini catalog too.
Called Mistletoe 116792

Delightful Decorations

This is a CASED card from Sandi MacIver,
you can check out her blog in my list below.
In my stash of paper I found the red cardstock,
it was already embossed. And I used a different
Holly border, this one is a Hero Arts Stamp.
My sentiment is another great set from Stampin' Up
Heard from the Heart 111644, stamped with Real Red.

"A Sledding We Will Go"

Winter Post

This is the first time I've used this set,
but I have been wanting to try it out for sometime.
It was really easy to water-color the skaters with my
SU ink from my dye based ink pads.
The Card stock is Chocolate Chip
DSP is Retired Stampin' Up Parisian Breeze
Ribbon is an unknown, probably from AC Moore
Corduroy Buttons/Brads are from SU aren't they cool!!!

Inside of Winter Post

Stampin' Up Die Top Note
Sentiment and Snowflake from Winter Post

Let Heaven & Nature Sing

This is a card design called Joy Fold
I picked it up on a video by Beate Johns, her blog is called Fresh & Fun in my listing.
The stamp is a Just Rite stamp, colored with SU markers
I tied it with some sheer white overlayed with red polka dot ribbon
The card base is Chocolate Chip, and Real Red
The punch is SU border punch Eyelet Border 113692
The card is held together by tucking the top layer
under the circle punched design. I used the SU punches
1" circle and 3/4" circle and a red "bling" in the center
I hope you can see how it is made with the other images I have posted.

Give Thanks

I waited and waited before I ordered the Baroque Motifs Stampin' Up set, now I wonder why. I have used it over and over. It makes a great background for so many things. Doesn't it look like these pumpkins are growing right out of the pumpkin patch???? I can just hear The Fairy Godmother saying "Bippty....boppity....boo....!!!!" and turning these pumpkins into Cinderella's Coach.
Stamps Baroque Motifs 113490 and the sentiment is from the Hostess set Holiday Best, this has also been the best little set of sentiments. The sentiment is stamped on a border from SU retired Label Classics, then cut out and popped up.
Pumpkins are punched with large oval punch and 1-1/4" Circle Punch. I used Pumpkin Pie CS and edged the cut outs with pumpkin pie ink.

Lovely As A Tree

Don't you just love this set. Stampin' Up "Lovely as aTree" It is so versatile. These trees can be any season you want them to be! I embossed the trees with several colors of Adirondack EP: Clay, Butterscotch, Ginger, & Moss.
I used a Martha Stuart border punch for the leaves on the bottom. Papers are retired Stampin' Up DSP "Autumn Vine" The little leaves on the sentiment came from the punched out ones. Sentiment is from the "Great Friend" set.
Background gold is from the new "In Colors' Crushed Curry.
Great Friend

I really enjoyed making this card. I received a thank you card with this pattern and decided I could make it. I used the Great Friend 113792 set from Stampin' Up, and black, ivory, and a light green. I had some different black & ivory DSP so I covered the insides with that. You can see my pattern in the following posts. I cut out the sentiment and popped it up with some Stampin' dimensionals. Hope you enjoy it too.
See the next posts for the lay-out and inside.

Well as you can tell I've been working on Halloween cards. I've always loved Halloween. When Ron and I were first married we had an annual Halloween Party. It was loads of fun. We decorated to the hilt and even had a haunted house one year. We have a long mountain road and Ron would decorate all up and down the road. Some times tombstones and hanging men, other times with Berma Shave signs. One year we had a 40-50's theme party. Some wore their father's WWII uniforms, others wore poodle skirts. We even had an Elvis and Annette Funicello. (Ron made a great Annette). We've had ET and Rubic's Cubes, Shieks and MASH characters, the entire Fruit-of -the-loom group, and one year we had 2 pregnant nuns...........so many creative costumes. So Halloween always brings back memories of my early marriage and youth. Hope ya'll enjoy these cards as much as I enjoyed making them.

Hi again,
These are Stampin' Ups new In Color papers. They coordinate with the polka dot ribbon. Inks and markers are also available in these colors. That's what I love about SU, all paper, inks ribbon, etc match. It really produces a professional card. And takes out a lot of quesswork. Giving you more time to make your cards. You're not pondering for hours which ribbon to use with which paper, or what colors go with which DSP Paper. Stampin" Up does that for you.
Stampin' Ups new In Color ribbon for 2009-2010. This is super ribbon. Polka Dots are always such fun. My favorites are Rich Razzleberry & Crushed Curry!

This is the second card I made for the "Card Pouch". I also made 4 of these. 8 Cards is the perfect amount to fill the pouch.
This card is used in my card pouch, I made 4 of them with different sentiments on each card. Pretty quick and easy. I plan to make several sets as gifts...
Stampin' Up
This is a cute pouch that can be made using a 12 x 12 double sided sheet of card stock. I got the idea from Split Coast Stampers. I printed the directions and the only name I see is "elissa" I want to give her credit for the idea.

8-27-09 Day one on my new blog. It's Thursday and as I work 4 days a week it's my "Friday" AHHHH!!!!!!! now that feels good, I can sleep late tomorrow. Since I'm over 50, I don't think I am suddenly going to turn into a morning person. I'm excited about sharing my love of rubber stamping with the cyber folks out there. I've been blog hopping for several months and there is so much creativity. It's wonderful to be able to see everyone's ideas, fabulous cards, & photos, I especially enjoy new puppies and flowers, and the snow in the upper mid-west is fun to see from afar!! :)
Well it's off to cook supper and maybe tomorrow I will learn how to upload some of my cards.
ta-ta for now. Necie
